ABOUT US

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia’s largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.

Looking for a role where you can grow, feel supported, and make a real difference?

At Employment Plus, you’ll join a team that genuinely cares about you and the people we support. Your work will help individuals with a disability, injury or health condition build confidence, independence and a future they can be proud of.

We’re excited to welcome a new Assistant Employment Consultant to our Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. Unlike traditional employment services, IEA offers:

  • A smaller caseload, allowing more time to support participants
  • A focus on quality outcomes, not volume
  • More personalised, hands-on support and relationship building

This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced Employment Consultants and build your career in Employment Services in an entry level role.

Based from a home site in Carnegie and travelling as needed across various sites in the bayside and the inner eastern suburbs region, this role works as part of a team providing support to individuals with a disability, injury or chronic health condition in the surrounding areas as they move toward sustainable employment.

What makes us different?

  • Purpose with Impact – every day, your work helps people build better lives
  • Supportive Culture – no egos, just real people who care
  • Growth & Learning – mentoring, professional development and ongoing skill development
  • Balance Built-In – opportunities to work your fulltime hours across a 9 day fortnight or 19 day month (inline with business requirements).
  • Salary Packaging Perks – boost your take-home pay with NFP benefits

Ready to be part of a team where you’re seen, heard and valued? Let’s talk.
