At Actioneer, we’re building a voice-first customer engagement platform to help enterprises provide intuitive, consumer-grade experiences for their customers. Our suite is designed for cheaply querying enterprise data, detecting bots, and resolving customer queries. We work best in customer journeys where there’s multiple parties, and complex documents (think insurance purchase, auto-lending, RFIs etc.)

About The Role

We’re hiring an experienced Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll own features end to end, from prototyping and design to implementation and production. The typical problems we work on revolve around AI agents, data infrastructure, and building products that solve real business problems.You’ll work directly with the founders, move quickly from ideas to production, and take ownership of the outcomes of what you build.

What You’ll Own

• Build and ship product features end to end, working across frontend, backend, and AI agents
• Design and implement scalable systems that support complex enterprise workflows
• Work closely with sales/product to understand problems, prototype solutions, and iterate based on feedback
• Build and improve AI agents, including tool integrations, evaluations, and production monitoring
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development and ship high-quality software faster
• Own features beyond deployment, measuring performance and continuously improving them

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with experience having worked on production systems at scale
• Bias for action; Able to quickly ship a v1 and iterate from there
• Strong experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Comfortable working across the stack and picking up new technologies as needed
• Strong product orientation, with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
