Senior Product Designer

About the role

Behind every home loan sits a maze of documents, rules, and high-stakes decisions. Our client is building an AI-native platform to automate it, and design runs as a first-class function. You’ll join customer discovery calls and shape product direction alongside Product and Engineering.

What you’ll do

• Own design for a core product area, from discovery through high-fidelity Figma work
• Lead customer discovery and usability sessions, and turn findings into design decisions
• Design UX patterns for multi-step automation workflows, data-dense tables, and high-stakes decision screens
• Design AI-native experiences: uncertainty states, human-in-the-loop controls, streaming content, graceful errors
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries and design system assets

What you bring

• 7+ years of senior-level product design experience with a strong product focus
• A portfolio with 2–3 detailed case studies showing high-craft visual and interaction design, ideally dense layouts and multi-step workflows
• Experience designing complex, workflow-heavy SaaS or enterprise products
• Startup or small-team experience shipping real products
• Deep Figma skills: variables, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, component library hygiene
• Comfort working in or alongside code, including AI-assisted workflows
• Experience inside established product design teams, and a formal degree
• Nice to have: AI-native UX, fintech or regulated-industry experience, founding or lead designer experience
