Job Description
Job Overview
Griot Solutions is building a candidate pipeline for a Senior AI Integration / Connector Engineer to support potential U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Enterprise AI Support Services work.
This is a contingent recruiting opportunity. A funded vacancy and start date have not been confirmed. Placement depends on final contract requirements, assigned work, client approval and final employment arrangements.
The role focuses on integrating and sustaining approved AI interfaces and enterprise connectors, troubleshooting integration issues, and maintaining secure, controlled changes across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate, configure and sustain approved AI interfaces, connectors and supporting enterprise configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues involving APIs, identity, permissions, network connectivity, configurations and product boundaries.
- Implement approved authentication, authorization, provisioning and entitlement controls using least-privilege principles.
- Maintain version-controlled configurations, technical documentation, change records, test evidence and rollback procedures.
- Coordinate advanced troubleshooting and escalation with product and service providers.
- Reuse approved native product capabilities where appropriate rather than duplicating existing functionality.
- Support testing, validation and controlled releases of approved integration changes.
- When separately authorized, develop or materially modify integrations and connectors with appropriate portability, observability, evaluation evidence and release controls.
- Follow approved data-access boundaries. Systems-of-record integrations are read-only by default unless a write path is separately authorized.
Relevant Experience
We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate hands-on experience with:
- Enterprise API integration and connector implementation or sustainment.
- Authentication, authorization, identity provisioning and permission boundaries.
- Troubleshooting integration issues across applications, services and infrastructure.
- Version control, configuration management and controlled releases.
- Integration testing, technical evidence, change documentation and rollback planning.
- Working with technical stakeholders and service providers to resolve complex issues.
Please describe the technologies you have actually used and the work you personally performed. Role-specific minimum years, degree requirements, certifications and personnel-security requirements have not yet been finalized.
Work Location and Travel
Performance is anticipated primarily at contractor or subcontractor facilities, including remote-work locations approved for performance. The final work location and remote-work arrangement remain to be confirmed.
Limited travel within the continental United States may be required for VA-site meetings, reviews, training, readiness or transition activities. The draft requirements contemplate trips of up to three on-site business days each. Travel frequency has not been established.
Assignment Details
The start date, weekly hours, employment arrangement and assignment duration remain subject to final staffing and contract decisions. This posting does not guarantee an offer or placement.
