AI Engineer

Job Overview

As an AI Engineer, you’ll build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning solutions that turn complex data into useful insights and products. You’ll partner with research, analytics, and engineering teams to move projects from data preparation through model deployment, with a focus on reliable performance and scalability. Your impact: By delivering well-tested AI models, you help teams make informed decisions and provide users with more relevant, useful tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transform data using ETL (extract, transform, load) workflows, SQL databases, data mining, and big data systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Develop and train machine learning models, including predictive models, unsupervised learning approaches, and natural language processing applications.
• Evaluate model quality through statistical analysis, statistical modeling, and research analysis; document findings and recommend improvements.
• Implement and deploy AI solutions using machine learning frameworks, cloud services such as AWS, and scalable data analytics platforms.
• Collaborate on AI implementation, generative AI, linked data, and emerging areas such as quantum engineering; support Spark implementation and model monitoring.

Skills

• Core: Python, SQL, machine learning, AI, model training, model evaluation, AI models, predictive modeling analysis, and machine learning/AI-based analysis.
• Data and analytics: ETL, database design, big data, big data systems, data analytics, analytics, statistical analysis tools, and SQL databases.
• Tools and platforms: TensorFlow, Spark, Hadoop, AWS, machine learning cloud services, Talend, Looker, SAS, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Java, and C.
• Approaches: Unsupervised learning, statistical modeling, statistical analysis, statistical analysis for research, natural language processing, generative AI, linked data, and scalability.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks, model deployment, Spark implementation, and data mining is useful; quantum engineering exposure is a plus.
