Responsibilities:

We are looking for a IT Engineer, Software (Intermediate) with 3–5 years of hands-on experience building and supporting business-critical web applications. The ideal candidate combines strong front-end development skills with a solid design sensibility, and brings proven expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to help build and maintain scalable, component-driven applications on the enterprise content platform.

This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering within the IT Business Applications function — translating wireframes and design systems into responsive, accessible, production-ready interfaces within an AEM-based platform.

  • Design and develop responsive, user-centric web interfaces from wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
  • Build, customize, and maintain AEM components, templates, and client libraries (HTL/Sightly, JS, CSS).
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to translate design concepts into functional AEM pages and components.

  • Ensure UI consistency by contributing to and maintaining a shared design system / component library.
  • Optimize front-end performance, page load times, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
  • Conduct usability reviews and incorporate feedback from user testing into design and development iterations.
  • Ensure all interfaces meet accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance).
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related defects across the AEM platform.
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, front-end frameworks, and AEM platform updates.

Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computers, IT or other related streams with 3-5 years of working experience with following skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in UI/UX development, front-end engineering, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) — component development, templates, HTL/Sightly, Sling models, and client libraries.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SASS/LESS, JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) integrated with AEM.
  • Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
  • Strong grasp of UX principles — usability, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 / ADA).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to bridge design intent with technical implementation.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design/technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams.
  • Problem-solving orientation with a keen eye for detail and design consistency.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • AEM certification (Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Developer).
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Familiarity with headless AEM / GraphQL implementations.
  • Exposure to A/B testing and analytics tools (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Java/backend concepts relevant to AEM development.
