Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-performance mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms. In this role, you will take features from concept to production, working with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, responsive, and secure user experiences.

Key Requirement: We are looking for a practitioner with proven, hands-on experience helping to take apps across the finish line. Applicants should provide live links to at least one application (or major features within an application) currently available in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store that they played a key role in launching or maintaining.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

Design and build robust, cross-platform mobile applications targeting both iOS and Android from a single codebase (e.g., Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform) or native equivalents.Integrate with backend RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs (authentication, push notifications, payment gateways, analytics).Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and user stories into clean, responsive, and pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.Support the optimization of app performance, memory management, startup time, and battery usage across a broad range of devices and OS versions.

App Store Deployment & Lifecycle Management

Contribute to the full application lifecycle: provisioning, code signing, beta distribution, store listing optimization, and production release.Assist with submissions through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines and policy updates.Help navigate and resolve store review rejections, policy compliance issues, and privacy manifest disclosures.Use and maintain automated CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise).

Quality, Maintenance & Monitoring

Set up crash analytics and monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry) to diagnose and fix runtime defects promptly.Write and maintain unit, integration, and basic automated UI tests.Ensure data security, secure storage (Keychain, EncryptedSharedPreferences), and adherence to mobile privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, App Tracking Transparency).

Required Qualifications & Experience

Proven Production Track Record: At least one live, active app deployed to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (links or descriptions of key contributions must be included in your submission).3+ years of professional mobile application development experience.Strong proficiency in modern cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter / Dart or React Native / TypeScript).Familiarity with native build tools and environments: Xcode (Objective-C/Swift) and Android Studio (Java/Kotlin).Thorough familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design standards.Experience with mobile state management libraries (e.g., Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, Zustand).Familiarity with persistent storage (SQLite, Realm, Hive, Room, Core Data) and basic offline-first synchronization patterns.Basic understanding of automated mobile build tools, code signing, and certificates/provisioning profile management.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) development experience.Experience implementing in-app purchases (IAP) and subscription management via StoreKit, Google Play Billing, or RevenueCat.Familiarity with over-the-air (OTA) updates (e.g., CodePush, Expo Updates).Experience deploying deep linking (Universal Links & App Links) and push notification architectures (APNs, FCM).

Pay: $95,800.00 - $101,500.00 per year
