Position: Part-Time Graphic Designer & Video Editor
Duration: November 2026 – May 2027 | ~10-30hrs/week
Location: Remote
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Mon – Fri, between 9 AM - 5 PM ET

Position Overview

The Music Business Association, a fast-paced trade organization, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented mid-level Graphic Designer & Video Editor for a temporary, part-time position from November 2026 through May 2027.

Weekly hours will vary based on project needs, typically starting at approximately 10 hours per week and increasing to a maximum of 30 hours per week during busier periods.

This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be available to work their scheduled hours between 9 AM and 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Creative Manager, the selected candidate will support the Association’s marketing and communications efforts across print, digital, video, and social platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Design engaging promotional materials for the Association’s member benefits and in-person and virtual events.
• Create and adapt graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites, presentations, and printed materials.
• Perform basic video editing on event recordings, including trimming footage, making minor adjustments, and preparing polished videos for socials.
• Maintain consistency with the Association’s established brand identity and design guidelines.
• Collaborate with a small, fast-paced team to manage multiple projects, communicate progress, and meet deadlines.
• Organize, maintain, and share creative assets and project files using established workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Mid-level professional experience in graphic design, with demonstrated video editing capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
• Experience using Dropbox for file sharing and organization.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and brand consistency.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with a small team in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
• 3-5 Years experience
• Experience working with WordPress.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact.
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Bridge.
• Previous experience creating promotional materials.
