Job Description
Salary Range: $85,000–$115,000 Annually
Additional Opportunity: Performance-based bonus compensation
Employment Type: Full-Time Senior Leadership TeamTHIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT POSITION.
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to manage construction projects, follow schedules, and collect a paycheck. We’re looking for a leader who wants to build a business within a business. Someone who sees opportunity where others see obstacles. Someone who understands that profitability matters, people development drives growth, and accountability starts with leadership.
At Wild Ridge Lawn & Landscape, we’re building something bigger than a traditional landscaping company. We’re challenging how the industry operates by creating a business driven by leadership, operational excellence, financial discipline, and an unwavering commitment to our customers.
We’re looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager who wants to take ownership of our Construction Department’s performance and help lead it into its next stage of growth.
This individual will be part of our Senior Leadership Team and have the opportunity to influence how we build, operate, and scale our construction division.
This position isn’t for everyone.
If you’re looking for a role where someone else makes all the decisions, manages the difficult conversations, or takes responsibility when things go wrong, this probably isn’t the right opportunity. But if you’re competitive, financially driven, passionate about developing people, and willing to bet on your ability to produce results, we should talk.
We’re looking for an intrapreneur — someone who thinks and operates like an owner while building something extraordinary inside Wild Ridge.
ABOUT WILD RIDGE
Wild Ridge Lawn & Landscape is a growing commercial landscape construction, maintenance, irrigation, and snow management company serving commercial properties throughout Indiana and surrounding markets.
We work with general contractors, developers, municipalities, property managers, and commercial property owners to deliver high-quality outdoor environments.
Our ambitions extend far beyond where we are today.
We’re building a company where exceptional leaders have the opportunity to influence the direction of the business, develop teams, improve systems, and create measurable financial results.
We believe leadership isn’t defined by a title. It’s defined by the ability to produce results through other people.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Senior Construction Project Manager, you’ll take a leadership role in the financial performance, operational execution, and continued growth of our Construction Department.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership, Sales, Estimating, Operations, and field teams to build a department capable of consistently delivering profitable, high-quality construction projects.
Your responsibility goes beyond managing individual jobs.
You’ll be expected to:
- Drive profitable revenue growth across the Construction Department.
- Own project financial performance, job costing, forecasting, and gross margin protection.
- Lead and develop Construction Project Managers, Foremen, and field leaders.
- Establish operational systems that create predictable project execution.
- Improve labor productivity, equipment utilization, and subcontractor performance.
- Strengthen relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand construction revenue and strengthen existing partnerships.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on departmental strategy, capacity planning, and long-term growth.
We aren’t hiring someone to maintain the status quo. We’re hiring someone to help take this department to the next level.
