About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Multibanking team at Haufe Group. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our cutting-edge multibanking platform, a cloud-based web application that handles significant transaction volumes daily. Your expertise will help us deliver seamless, secure, and scalable banking solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Based in Freiburg im Breisgau, a city renowned for its sunny climate and vibrant tech scene, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers, UX designers, product owners, and agile coaches. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong passion for building innovative banking software. You should be proficient in frontend development with React and TypeScript, and have solid backend skills in Spring Boot (Java) along with experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including microservices architecture on platforms like AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda), is essential. Experience integrating AI tools into development workflows and building AI applications is a plus. You should be committed to writing clean, maintainable code, practicing test-driven development, and applying agile methodologies. Fluency in German at C2 level is required for seamless communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities As a Senior Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance our multibanking platform across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers. You will actively incorporate AI tools to augment development processes and improve product functionalities. Ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of systems is paramount, and you will work to implement continuous improvements that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. You will have the autonomy to select tools and define implementation strategies, maintaining an open dialogue with team members to explore new approaches and experimental solutions. Your role also involves participating in agile ceremonies, contributing to code reviews, and mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
