About The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bracknell, with flexible working arrangements including remote work. In this senior, hands-on role, you will play a pivotal part in rebuilding and enhancing our international payments platform within the Corporate Payments division. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across the full technology stack, taking ownership of features from conception to deployment, and leading architectural decisions. Your primary focus will be on developing the Vue.js front end, while also contributing significantly to backend C# .NET services and API development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Compliance, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions. As a senior team member, you will influence technical strategies, modernize legacy systems, and help shape the architectural direction of the platform, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A strong background in frontend development, with experience in Vue.js; React experience is also acceptable
• Proven backend development expertise in C# .NET framework
• Comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with production AWS environments; knowledge of other cloud providers is a plus
• Ability to take technical ownership, mentor junior team members, and make informed architectural decisions
• A STEM degree or equivalent technical qualification
• Desirable: experience in payments, financial services, or regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features, with a primary focus on Vue.js frontend and C# backend services
• Own and drive end-to-end feature delivery, ensuring high quality, performance, and security standards
• Lead architectural decisions within your domain, advocating for best practices and scalable solutions
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Compliance teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables
• Modernize legacy services, improve observability, and enhance testing frameworks to increase system reliability
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment processes are followed, optimizing for efficiency and stability
• Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
• Contribute to the wider architectural strategy and participate in technical reviews and planning sessions
