Cyber Security Project Manager

Cyber Security Project Manager | Hybrid, Central London | SC clearance eligibility required

We’re partnering with a growing Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) that delivers innovative managed IT security services to its customers, combining next-generation security event monitoring with threat intelligence and a range of breach and vulnerability detection engines.

They’re looking for an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to plan, execute and deliver customer projects on time and within scope, leading cross-functional teams of developers, engineers and product managers, and acting as the bridge between customers, technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria with stakeholders
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations
• Own the full project lifecycle, from initial requirements through delivery to post-launch evaluation
• Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Be the primary point of contact for customers, translating technical detail into clear business language
• Identify risks and dependencies early, drive mitigation, remove blockers and escalate where needed
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, security requirements and compliance guidelines
• Champion Agile/Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain clear documentation of project artefacts, requirements and decisions

Must Have

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-focused environment, ideally delivering cyber security projects
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern development practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organisational skills
• Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex initiatives
• Proficiency with project management tools and strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance

Nice to Have

• PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines
• Background within an MSSP, SOC or managed services environment

Working Pattern

Hybrid, with regular visits to the head office in Central London.
