Responsibilities : Senior Consultant - BI&A Responsibilities *Conduct customer discovery meetings to determine reporting requirements *Understand and work with customer on Power BI Licensing and understand the limits/advantages of each licensing platform *Guide customer on Enterprise BI best practices *Support and guide solution architecture across project ensuring alignment with technical standards and business goals *Translate high-level architecture guidance into actionable delivery tasks and implementation plans *Execute delivery frameworks code standards and reusable patterns that strengthen project consistency including CI/CD Power BI best practices *Conduct design reviews technical validation and quality checks within delivery teams *Design advanced semantic models using star schemas DAX and power query prioritizing shared semantic model when possible *Strong understanding of SQL queries and Databricks/Fabric notebooks *Troubleshoot and resolve delivery challenges including integration performance and scalability issues Qualifications *Bachelors degree in computer engineering data science or a related field or equivalent work experience *5+ years working with data and business intelligence solutions on the Microsoft tool stack for Business Intelligence (SSRS Power BI or PowerPivot (Excel) or PerformancePoint) or other vendor Business Intelligence tools (Business Objects MicroStrategy Qlik SAP) *Working knowledge of TSQL data modeling reporting using Power BI or other Microsoft tools *Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions based on business questions with linked content drilldowns and nested parameters *Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques *Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M language *Design develop and implement user interfaces to ensure ease of use and minimal knowledge by the functional work group that will be using the database *Ability to gather requirements and conduct focus groups to determine the processes needed to assist and grow the business Professional Skills: *Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment *Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills for both technical and nontechnical teams *Passionate about learning new technologies *Analytical approach to problem-solving ability to use technology to solve business problems *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Preferred Experience: *Experience working with Databricks and/or Fabric notebooks triggers datalakes *AI integration with Power BI and use of AI for data storytelling *Experience setting up Enterprise BI environment for large customer base *Experience with customer-facing presentations on BI models and solutions architecture 9.
