Job Description
Company Description Future of Nation is a learning platform built by a community of IIT alumni, IIM graduates, and global researchers focused on delivering real, practical skills to students. Inspired by the journey of founder Akash Arya—from overcoming hardship to studying at IITs and global institutions—the organization is driven by a mission to make skill-based education accessible to every learner. The platform emphasizes hands-on mentorship, structured learning, and personal growth, aiming to help students become confident nation-builders. Programs are centered on four pillars: Programming, Entrepreneurship, Scientific Research, and Leadership, preparing youth to excel in a rapidly changing world. Team members contribute directly to this mission by building tools and experiences that impact learners across India.
Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Java Application Developer. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that support the platform’s learning and mentoring experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, writing clean and efficient code, fixing bugs, and contributing to backend services and APIs. The intern will collaborate with senior developers to work on microservices or Jakarta EE/Spring-based modules, participate in code reviews, and help improve application performance and reliability. The role also involves writing basic technical documentation, testing application components, and contributing ideas to enhance the overall learner experience.
