Position Overview

Blue Chip Talent is seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer with hands-on experience developing, configuring, deploying, and managing AI agents using Anthropic Claude and other AI-driven development platforms. This consultant will help establish AI development standards, build custom AI agents, and implement secure, scalable solutions supporting various technical and business teams.

The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer with practical experience in Claude Code, AI agent development, MCP integrations, Docker, and Azure DevOps. This is a hands-on, project-based opportunity focused on building and operationalizing AI agent capabilities within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, deploy, and manage AI agents using Anthropic Claude and Claude Code.
• Build custom AI agents to support internal business, development, and technical teams.
• Establish AI development standards, best practices, and reusable agent configurations.
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, AI Skills, and tool-based agent workflows.
• Configure and manage AI-assisted development environments using Docker, Linux, and Azure DevOps.
• Integrate AI agents and development tools with existing repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise systems.
• Implement security controls for AI development tools, including permissions, credential protection, execution restrictions, network access, and logging.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize AI agents, integrations, and development environments.
• Document configurations, development standards, testing results, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to support AI adoption and transfer knowledge to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in software engineering, AI development, DevOps, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude and Claude Code in a development environment.
• Demonstrated experience building, configuring, and managing AI agents.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding and development platforms such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or OpenAI Codex.
• Experience with Docker, container configuration, and Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, including Git repositories, permissions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, JSON, YAML, and configuration management.
• Understanding of secure development practices, access controls, and credential management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing custom AI agents and agentic workflows using Anthropic technologies.
• Experience with MCP servers, AI Skills, tool integrations, and agent orchestration.
• Python or similar programming experience supporting AI agent development and automation.
• Experience establishing enterprise AI development standards and reusable frameworks.
• Familiarity with security controls and governance for enterprise AI development platforms.
• Experience integrating AI agents into existing development workflows and enterprise applications.
