A unique opportunity to contribute to our client’s innovative voice AI projects as a Conversational AI Designer . This temp-to-perm position is part of a growing team within the AI and voice technology space, supporting the design, prototyping, and development of conversational voice AI bots. The role emphasizes expertise in conversation flow management, prompting, guardrails, and behavioral design, helping to shape user experience and upskill the existing engineering team.

Conversational AI Designer Responsibilities:

• Design and develop voice AI conversation flows, prompts, and guardrails to deliver natural and engaging user experiences.
• Prototype voice AI solutions from ambiguous use cases and carry them through to production delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering team members to ensure seamless integration of conversation designs and share knowledge to upskill team members.
• Contribute to defining and refining voice interaction strategies, including response timing and user engagement techniques.
• Support the broader team in building scalable voice AI solutions and participate in team growth initiatives.

Conversational AI Designer Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience building conversational voice AI, including voice interaction design, response timing, prompting, and conversation flow management.
• Proven ability to create prototypes from ambiguous use cases and develop them into production-ready systems.
• Experience in solution engineering, prototyping, and implementation within voice AI or related conversational AI projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a talent for knowledge sharing and influencing team members.
• Versatile in AI engineering, solutioning, and behavioral design, with the ability to work across multiple hats in a startup environment.
