Job Description
Draftway helps small businesses maintain customer-facing help articles, product instructions, and support templates. We’re hiring a Content Quality Assistant to review updates before publication and flag information that needs correction.
You’ll report to the Content Operations Manager. Your work will focus on accuracy, consistency, and usability rather than marketing or sales.
What you’ll review
A help article may contain an outdated screenshot. A product guide may use two different names for the same feature. A support template may leave out a step the customer needs.
You’ll compare these materials with approved source documents, record discrepancies, and route questions to the appropriate subject-matter reviewer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Checking spelling, grammar, formatting, and terminology.
- Testing links and reviewing page navigation.
- Comparing instructions with approved process documentation.
- Flagging unsupported claims or missing information.
- Checking AI-assisted drafts against the same editorial standards as other content.
- Maintaining a review tracker and following up on requested corrections.
- Preparing approved changes for publication.
You won’t be expected to independently approve legal, medical, or financial guidance.
What you should bring
At least one year of experience in administrative support, proofreading, customer support documentation, or content operations.
You should write clear English, notice inconsistencies, and explain corrections constructively. Familiarity with spreadsheets and shared document tools is required. Experience using a content management system is helpful.
A college degree is not required. Training on our style guide, review process, and publishing tools is provided.
The practical details
The hourly rate is $23–$27, based on relevant experience and demonstrated editing skills. This is a full-time employee position with no commission component.
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time, totaling 40 paid hours weekly, including a paid 30-minute meal break each day.
The role is fully remote within Pennsylvania. No travel or office attendance is required. We provide a company laptop, required software, paid onboarding, ten days of annual paid time off, and company-observed paid holidays.
Reliable internet access and a workspace suitable for handling confidential client materials are necessary.
How selection works
Apply through Indeed with your resume. Selected applicants will have an introductory phone conversation and a video interview with the Content Operations Manager. During the interview, we’ll discuss a short sample document and the changes you would recommend.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available. Hiring decisions are based on job-related qualifications, and reasonable accommodations are available throughout the process.
