About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a remote, one-year engagement. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and release processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in deployment automation, cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and infrastructure management, with an emphasis on reliability and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and release processes.
- Automate release deployments using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or similar platforms.
- Implement and manage Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures to support application deployment and operations.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using observability tools.
- Support system reliability and deployment quality through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience automating release deployments using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience with Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and related services.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
