Salesforce Platform Developer

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a remote Salesforce Platform Developer. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of the agency’s Salesforce Public Sector Solution and Grantmaking platform.

Major duties

• Configure, customize, test, deploy, and maintain Salesforce Public Sector Solution and Grantmaking applications.
• Collaborate with staff, grantees, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective Salesforce solutions.
• Design and implement custom applications, workflows, automations, forms, reports, dashboards, and data management processes.
• Support data migration, validation, system integration, quality assurance, and production releases.
• Develop and maintain system, configuration, business process, and user documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions remain accessible, secure, compliant, and aligned with agency policies and business requirements.
• Provide ongoing technical support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and expanded Salesforce use.
• Develop training materials and deliver individual and group training to support user adoption.
• Provide coaching, technical assistance, and knowledge transfer on system functionality, business processes, reporting, and workflow management.

What are we looking for?

• 7 years of experience with Salesforce Flow automation, the Salesforce security model, and DevOps/deployment management including Salesforce DX, version control, and CI/CD.
• 7 years of experience with data migration and ETL processes.
• 4 years of experience configuring and administering Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).
• 4 years of experience with Experience Cloud and Community Plus.
• 4 years of experience developing Salesforce reports and dashboards.

Exciting Opportunity Details

• Rate: $89.00/hour
• W2 Contract
• Worksite Location: Remote
• Contract through 8/31/27 with opportunity for extension
