Architectural Designer

Job Description

Ashe Leandro is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our New York studio. Working closely with the Architectural Director and senior leadership, this role contributes to the creative and technical development of projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate combines a strong design sensibility with excellent organizational and communication skills and is comfortable taking ownership of portions of a project while collaborating with senior and junior team members. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to project design development, documentation, and coordination.
• Prepare and revise architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations under the supervision of senior staff.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings, assisting with the preparation of design materials and meeting notes.
• Ensure drawing sets meet firm standards and are delivered accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and consultants to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Conduct research and source materials, finishes, and fixtures as required for design development.
• Support project teams with permit submissions, construction administration, and field coordination.
• Maintain organized project documentation and digital filing per office protocols.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in an architectural design role.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Enscape and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience producing design documentation and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong design and technical drawing capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively, meet deadlines, and manage multiple deliverables.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
