💻 Role Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience to build, optimize, secure, and maintain websites for our global clients.

This is a flexible, part-time remote contract role, ideal for a developer who wants meaningful engineering work alongside other professional commitments.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

Custom WordPress Development

• Develop and customize responsive WordPress themes and plugins
• Build solutions using clean, maintainable code and established frameworks
• Work with WordPress APIs and custom functionality

⚡ Performance Optimization

• Optimize Core Web Vitals and website loading performance
• Improve database queries, caching, assets, and server-side performance
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks

🔐 Security & Hardening

• Implement WordPress security best practices
• Harden websites against common vulnerabilities and attacks
• Manage updates, patches, SSL, permissions, and secure configurations
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities

🛒 WooCommerce & Integrations

• Configure and customize WooCommerce
• Develop and maintain third-party API integrations
• Troubleshoot payment, checkout, and e-commerce workflows

🔧 Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose backend and frontend issues
• Resolve plugin/theme conflicts and compatibility problems
• Troubleshoot server-side and deployment issues
• Maintain reliable, production-ready websites

Experience

• 1–3 years of professional WordPress development experience
• Experience working on commercial or client-facing websites

• Strong knowledge of PHP
• HTML5 & CSS3

Performance & SEO

• Understanding of Core Web Vitals
• Website speed and performance optimization
