Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java architecture, microservices, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing scalable distributed systems, building CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized deployments, and driving engineering best practices across teams.

This role requires a combination of software engineering excellence, system design expertise, and DevOps ownership.

Roles & Responsibilities

Java Architecture & Development

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect high-performing distributed systems and APIs.
• Drive architectural decisions and conduct system design reviews.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Perform code reviews and mentor engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement automated testing and quality gates.
• Drive DevSecOps practices including SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.
• Manage deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments.
• Improve deployment reliability and release efficiency.

Containers & Kubernetes

• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
• Optimize container performance and security.
• Implement highly available Kubernetes deployment architectures.

Security & Reliability

• Manage application and container vulnerabilities.
• Implement RBAC, Secrets Management, and security best practices.
• Support observability and monitoring initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.

• Strong CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Good understanding of system design and architecture principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in remote/distributed engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
• Terraform or Ansible.
• Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
• DevSecOps and vulnerability management tools (Snyk, Trivy, Checkmarx).
