Remote Creative & Business Assistant

About me

I’m an independent musician, songwriter, and creative entrepreneur. I tour with my band, and I’m growing new projects of my own, including a songbook and children’s books. I run the business side myself, and I’m looking for a sharp, organized person to help me grow and keep everything moving.

What you’ll do

• Booking: reach out to venues and leads, follow up, and keep my band’s show calendar current

• Songbook: help keep a print project on track, coordinating with the artists and transcriber involved

• Children’s books: help develop new book projects from idea to finished product, including research, organizing, and next steps

• Social media and email follow-ups: keep my accounts active and conversations with partners moving

• A mix of everything else: whatever the week needs, and helping me think through what to build next

Who I’m looking for

• Organized, reliable, and good at following through without being chased

• Clear, warm writer. You’ll be emailing venues and partners on my behalf

• Comfortable with Google Workspace or similar, spreadsheets, and learning new tools

• Music industry, publishing, or arts admin experience is a big plus

• Curious and creative. You like helping new ideas turn into real things

The details

• Fully remote, flexible hours

• 8-15 hours a week to start, with room to grow

• $30/hour
