Salesforce Developer

SUMMARY:

Tucker-Reeves Associates is seeking a SalesForce Developer to help support a Federal Program within the US Department of Veterans Affairs. We are partnered with Booz Allen on this position and will allow remote work within the continental United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to the client with Salesforce.com (SFDC) development and integration in a large enterprise organization.
• Develop rapid prototypes, present demos of capabilities and functions of the SFDC platform, and implement solutions based on client requirements.
• Develop, modify, and maintain applications that may be customized or standardized.
• Participate in design and coding activities with other staff members
• Design, build, and maintain reusable, and reliable C++ code using good OOP/OOAD techniques
• Develop data models, stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL and Design/Develop Oracle Forms
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development life-cycle
• Optimize, identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Assist in maintaining code quality, revision control and organization
• Develop enhancements to existing API capabilities as defined by project leadership
• Regression/Performance testing of all interface and API’s
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremonies

REQUIREMENTS (Must Have):

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or technical discipline is required.
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
• 5+ years of experience with developing on SFDC or Force.com platform
• 5+ years of experience with supporting relational databases, including Oracle or SQL Server
• 5+ years of experience in developing with LWC, Apex, Java, C#, and JavaScript languages
• 5+ years of experience with implementing call center and case management solutions on the SFDC platform
• 3+ years of experience with version control tools like GitHub or Bitbucket
• Experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which includes - Lightning components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder).
• Experience with the Agile development process
• SalesForce Administrator
• SalesForce Platform Developer I and II Certification
• Experience with virtual team management
• Experience working with the VA or Federal clients
