Build React customer journeys and Node.js services/APIs for a customer authentication service. Use GitHub Copilot and effective prompts and codebase context to accelerate implementation, testing, refactoring, debugging, and documentation, while taking responsibility for the quality and security of all delivered code.

Work may cover identity and registration, authentication and sessions, credentials and MFA, identity verification, localization and customer journeys, and enterprise integrations

• Develop React user journeys and Node.js services/APIs for assigned authentication, registration, recovery, credential, MFA, device, and SSO workflows.

• Integrate approved APIs and services, such as AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, CARE, IVR/ANI, Smart Launch, and federation services, as assigned.

• Use GitHub Copilot to assist with implementation, tests, refactoring, debugging, and documentation.

• Provide coding assistants with relevant task, repository, design, and test context; review and validate suggestions before using them.

• Test and debug generated code, including negative and error paths; address security, maintainability, and quality issues.

• Follow approved service contracts, data contracts, security controls, audit expectations, and ownership boundaries.

• Contribute to integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, production readiness, and hypercare.

• Follow approved data-handling policies when using AI coding tools.

• Hands-on React and Node.js development.

• API consumption and integration for customer-facing journeys or services.

• Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or a comparable AI coding assistant; GitHub Copilot is preferred for this role.

• Ability to write clear prompts and provide relevant codebase and requirements context.

• Ability to review, test, debug, and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on it without verification.

• Understanding of secure software development and responsible handling of source code and data.

• AWS Cognito, ODL, RSA, identity, authentication, or MFA integration.

• OIDC/SAML federation, CARE, IVR/ANI, or Smart Launch integration.

• Experience using AI coding tools for test generation, refactoring, and debugging.

5-8 years with 3-4 years of relevant experience
