About Lendie

Lendie is a growing Canadian financial services company focused on making financial services simpler, faster, and more transparent for underserved customers.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Zoho Developer to take ownership of our Zoho ecosystem, build custom applications, develop integrations, and automate business processes.

This is a hands-on development role. You’ll work directly with management to design and build technology that supports our operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Zoho CRM Development

• Develop and maintain complex workflows, automations, and custom functions using Deluge.
• Customize Zoho CRM modules, layouts, pipelines, and user interfaces.
• Build reports and dashboards using Zoho Analytics.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance.

Custom Application Development

• Design and build custom applications using Zoho Catalyst.
• Develop internal tools and interfaces for employees and external partners.
• Build backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, or Python.
• Create scalable solutions that integrate with our existing systems.

API Integrations

• Design, build, and maintain REST API integrations and webhooks connecting Zoho with third-party platforms.
• Integrate lending software, payment processors, credit bureaus, identity verification providers, and other external services.
• Develop automated data synchronization between systems.
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and automated retries.

Technical Ownership

• Independently manage development projects from planning through deployment.
• Manage development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, version control, and security best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Zoho CRM and Deluge development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Deluge scripting, custom functions, and workflow automation.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party software integrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js or Python.
• Experience developing custom applications using Zoho Catalyst or comparable serverless platforms.
• Strong understanding of JSON, OAuth 2.0, and API authentication.
• Experience with debugging, error handling, and system integrations.
• Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Zoho Analytics, SQL, Zoho Creator, and Zoho Flow.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Experience developing web applications and custom user interfaces.
• Experience with cloud platforms and serverless architecture.
• Experience in financial services, lending, or fintech.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
