**Python Full-Stack Developer
6 month contract
100% remote, EST hours** Primary Responsibilities And Duties Of This Role The role primarily focuses on backend development with Python, building AWS cloud-native applications. It involves working with biometrics programs (facial, voice, environmental anomaly), computer vision, and a similarity suite. There is also involvement with a mobile app. The role will contribute to feature enhancements, new features, and functionalities for existing applications. While not a formal mentorship role, the individual may interact with apprentices and junior members, offering advice and feedback as a team player.
Key Qualifications And Skills Required For This Position
- Python backend developer
- DevOps savvy
- AWS experience (CDK preferred)
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in EST time zone (majority of the day)
- Experience with VLMs or computer vision models and associated pipelines (nice-to-have)
- Machine learning/AI experience as a developer (bonus, not primary)
