Are you an experienced two-man water connections gang looking for consistent work, good rates of pay and a company that values quality workmanship?

Cascade Water Services Ltd is expanding, and we’re looking for a reliable, skilled 2-man Water Connections Gang to join our growing operations team.

We are an established, WIRS-accredited water infrastructure contractor delivering new water connections, mains installations and developer services projects across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.

We’re looking for a team that knows the job, takes pride in its work and can confidently deliver water connections and mains installations to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing new water service connections to live distribution mains.
• Completing developer services connections for residential and commercial developments.
• Installing new water mains, including MDPE and HPPE pipework.
• Carrying out excavations, pipe laying, backfilling and associated groundworks.
• Installing boundary boxes, water meters, manifolds, valves and associated fittings.
• Undertaking mains connections, including under-pressure drilling and tapping where appropriately trained and authorised.
• Working safely in highways, footways, private land and development sites.
• Following site-specific RAMS, utility drawings and safe digging procedures.
• Ensuring all work is completed professionally, safely and to water industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re specifically looking for an experienced, established 2-man gang who can work together efficiently and independently.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Proven experience in water service connections and mains installations.
• Experience working on water company developer services projects.
• Good knowledge of MDPE/HPPE pipework, fittings and installation methods.
• Experience with live water mains connections.
• Strong excavation and underground utility awareness.
• A good understanding of highway working and reinstatement requirements.
• The ability to manage work on site with minimal supervision.
• A professional attitude and pride in delivering quality work.

Desirable qualifications:

• NRSWA Street Works qualifications (Operative/Supervisor as appropriate).
• EUSR National Water Hygiene.
• EUSR SHEA Water.
• Water industry Level 2 qualifications.
• Excavator/dumper tickets.
• First Aid certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
