Senior Account Executive Role Description

Please note we are looking for Account Execs who demonstrate proven media relations success - that is to say, you can make it rain media hits and opportunities our clients need. The candidate must have 5-7 years of PR firm experience as a Senior Public Relations Account Executive and/or Media Relations Strategist and have worked with B2B/Channel Technology. In short, the role is media-relations heavy, with a lot of pitch writing and creative ideation.

The Senior Public Relations Account Executive will develop and implement PR strategies, manage client relationships, draft and edit press materials, and secure media placements. The Senior Public Relations Account Executive will also monitor media coverage, track and analyze results, and present reports.

Qualifications

• While we are remote, we can only hire applicants in the tri-state area (please do not apply unless you live near NYC);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client management and relationship skills
• Ability to develop and implement PR strategies and tactics
• Experience drafting and editing press materials
• Experience securing media placements and managing media relationships
• Ability to work independently
• Supervisory experience and mentorship skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in public relations
• Experience working with B2B/B2C clients is an absolute must
• Experience with crisis management is a plus
