About the Role

NorthBay Insurance Group is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Remote Customer Service Representative to assist customers over the phone. This role focuses on answering incoming calls, helping customers navigate the online enrollment process, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported.

No insurance license is required. Paid training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously.
• Guide customers through the online application and enrollment process.
• Help customers navigate the website or application.
• Document calls and follow company procedures.
• Refer insurance-specific questions about plans, coverage, or benefits to a licensed agent.
• Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Phone or call center experience preferred.
• Reliable computer and headset for making and receiving calls.
• Stable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays as required. Sunday availability is welcome but not required.

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Starting pay of $17 per hour.
• Overtime will be available.
• Paid training provided.
