  • Use Shopify metafields and metaobjects to structure store data and power custom theme features.
  • Participate in all aspects of development, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Test and debug theme changes for functionality, responsiveness, and performance across devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate across time zones via Teams, GitLab, documents, and frequent videoconferences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Shopify developer, with a strong focus on theme customization.
  • Strong expertise in Online Store 2.0, Liquid, JSON templates, sections, and blocks.
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, with experience implementing complex storefront logic and responsive interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party apps and services into Shopify themes, including custom behavior and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Shopify metafields and metaobjects to support custom storefront features and data relationships.
  • Experience with API integrations and familiarity with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs as they relate to storefront features and integrations.
  • Comfortable with Git commands and branching and merging techniques.
  • Strong debugging skills using appropriate tools and techniques.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building and maintaining custom Shopify apps using Node.js/TypeScript, Shopify CLI, Polaris, and App Bridge, including API integrations, webhooks, and authentication.
  • Experience with Shopify extensibility, including theme app extensions, Checkout UI Extensions, and Shopify Functions for discounts, shipping, and cart or checkout logic.

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000
  • This is a full-time position scheduled from Monday to Friday. You may be needed outside regular business hours when required.
