PHP Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate frontend user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clear, readable, and testable code following OOP and MVC principles.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external usage.
• Design and manage relational databases, writing efficient SQL queries and utilizing Eloquent ORM.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs in existing codebases.
• Participate in code reviews and actively learn new technologies to improve development workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Backend Development

• Solid foundation in PHP and the Laravel Framework (basic knowledge of Laravel 10/11/12).
• Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and MVC architecture.
• Experience with REST API development and integration.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization basics.

2. Frontend Development

• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Good grasp of JavaScript fundamentals and jQuery basics.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Experience handling asynchronous requests with AJAX and JSON.

3. Database Management

• Hands-on experience with MySQL and writing fundamental SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).
• Understanding of database relationships and joins.
• Familiarity with Laravel migrations, models, and Eloquent ORM.

4. Tools and Version Control

• Experience using Git for version control (via GitHub or GitLab).
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of Composer for dependency management.
• Basic command-line / terminal usage skills.

5. Additional Requirements

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.
• Experience implementing form validation and error handling.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand existing code, identify issues, and apply fixes.
• A strong team player with a willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the company.

Preferred / Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience specifically with Laravel API development.
• API authentication knowledge using Laravel Sanctum or Passport.
• Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks like React, or mobile development with Flutter.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML API integrations.
• Familiarity with Linux servers and basic deployment processes.
• Basic understanding of background processing (queues, jobs, and scheduled tasks) in Laravel.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
