About BajriX

BajriX is a construction and home-building materials discovery and sourcing platform that helps buyers discover products and connect with local construction material sellers.

We are building a structured digital catalogue of construction materials across categories such as cement, tiles, sanitaryware, plywood, electrical, lighting, paints, hardware, roofing, and more.

Role Overview

We are looking for detail-oriented Product Catalogue & Operations Interns who will help create and maintain product listings for sellers onboarded on BajriX.

Our sales team will collect product information, images, brochures, price lists, seller details, and other relevant data from sellers. Your responsibility will be to convert this raw information into accurate, structured, and high-quality product listings on the BajriX platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive product details, images, catalogues, brochures, price lists, and seller information from the sales team.
• Create product listings on the BajriX seller/admin platform.
• Select the correct category, sub-category, brand, unit, and product specifications.
• Write clear and accurate product names and descriptions.
• Upload and arrange appropriate product images.
• Enter information such as product name, brand, category, price, unit, MOQ, specifications, stock/availability, and other relevant attributes.
• Review seller catalogues and identify individual products that need to be listed.
• Verify listings for spelling errors, incorrect categories, duplicate products, or incomplete information.
• Coordinate with the sales team whenever product information is missing or unclear.
• Maintain consistency in catalogue structure and product naming across the platform.
• Update existing listings whenever sellers provide revised information.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to assist with product research, descriptions, structuring specifications, and improving listing quality.
• Verify AI-generated information before adding it to the platform.

Mandatory Requirements

• Personal laptop is mandatory.
• Candidate should have reliable internet access.
• Candidate should be comfortable using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools.
• Good working knowledge of Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
• Good written English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and organize product information.
• Basic internet research skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned listings within deadlines.

Knowledge of construction materials is not mandatory. Training will be provided on BajriX categories, product structures, and catalogue standards.

Preferred Candidates

Students or recent graduates from any discipline can apply.

Candidates with an interest in e-commerce, marketplaces, catalogue operations, data management, AI tools, construction materials, or startups will be preferred.

• Turnaround time
• Consistency of catalogue data
• Correct use of categories and specifications
• Ability to use AI tools efficiently without compromising accuracy

About the Opportunity

BajriX is an early-stage startup, so interns will work closely with the core team and get exposure to how a marketplace is built from the ground up.

Strong performers may be offered an extended internship or greater ownership of catalogue operations as BajriX expands across more sellers, categories, and cities.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
