Job Description
Creator is the tool our customers use to build game-based training without writing a line of code. We’re looking for a frontend developer who builds tools that look good and feel even better to use.
👋 About Attensi
Attensi is a Norwegian tech company building gamified simulation training. Since 2012 we’ve grown to over 230 Game Changers across Europe and the US. Our training is used in 150+ countries and 50+ languages by brands like Circle K, BCG, PwC, Accenture, KPMG, ABB, Zurich and Novartis.
About the role
As Creator moves fully to the web, we’re investing heavily in the authoring experience. We want it to be fast, clear and genuinely enjoyable to use, and to look as good as the training it creates.
Where a game developer obsesses over game feel, you’ll obsess over tool feel: responsiveness, clarity, flow and the visual details that make a tool a pleasure to use.
AI is a big part of how we build, not just what we build. Our developers use AI tools every day to prototype, write and test code faster, and you’ll help shape how we work with it as a team.
Stack: TypeScript, SvelteKit, TailwindCSS, SignalR and, when needed, .NET / C#.
What you’ll do
- Design and build the interfaces, interactions and user flows in Attensi Creator
- Make your own design decisions on features, from first sketch to shipped UI
- Make complex content creation feel simple for non-technical users
- Build AI-assisted creation tools for text, image and voice generation
- Work with real-time collaboration and live data
- Build reusable components and patterns that make the whole team faster
What we’re looking for
- At least two years of frontend experience, whether in a job, at a startup or in another fast-moving product environment
- Strong TypeScript and experience with a modern component framework. Svelte is a plus, and React translates well
- Experience building interactive, stateful web applications, not just static pages
- A strong eye for visual design. Your work looks good, you can explain why, and you’re confident making design decisions yourself
- Care for the details: spacing, motion, feedback and the moment something starts to feel right
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in your development work
- A pragmatic, collaborative approach to building product
Bonus points if you have experience with
- SvelteKit, TailwindCSS or real-time systems like SignalR
- Figma, or designing interfaces before you build them
- Motion, animation, creative coding or game development
- AI/LLM integrations such as OpenAI or ElevenLabs
- Editors, authoring tools or other complex creation tools
- A degree in computer science, interaction design or similar
Built something cool?
We’d love to see it. Add a link to your portfolio when you apply. That could be school projects, freelance work, side projects, prototypes or anything else you’ve built.
What we offer
A flat, open and collaborative environment with talented colleagues across product, design, tech, AI and game-based learning, and real room to shape both the product and your own role. We work hard and make time for fun too, from Attensi Days and sports events to game nights and company trips.
