Director, Data Science - Consumer and Developer Experience (Remote-Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Data Science - Consumer and Developer Experience (Remote-Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader in financial services is seeking a data science leader to shape consumer and developer-facing experiences through advanced analytics, machine learning, and scalable data solutions. The role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable priorities that improve products and drive measurable business outcomes. This position also requires guiding the adoption of emerging technologies and helping mature the organization’s data science practices in a highly collaborative environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products
• Leverage technologies like Python, AWS, and Spark for data insights
• Build machine learning models from design to implementation
• Translate complex data findings into actionable business goals
• Research and apply emerging technologies to enhance data science practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a quantitative field with relevant experience in data analytics
• 4+ years of experience with open-source programming languages for large-scale data analysis
• 4+ years of experience in machine learning
• 4+ years of experience utilizing relational databases
• Experience with AWS and managing teams is preferred
