The company

I’m working with an established Stockholm tech company (20+ years) that’s built a long, solid relationship with Microsoft - and is now going to market together with them on an exciting new product. It’s AI-powered video production for Microsoft Teams: a tool that automatically turns a Teams meeting into a polished, professional broadcast, choosing layouts, following the speaker, adding branding and enabling advanced multi-segment productions, with manual control for high-end users too.

The company has deep roots in broadcast and live video production (including sports), and this product is a spin-off venture that’s in an early but very strong position - backed by an established business, an impressive history, and a Microsoft partnership that opens doors to major enterprise customers. It’s a genuine chance to make a real impact on a product with serious momentum behind it.

The role

This is a frontend developer position building out the product platform alongside a small, tight team. The frontend team is currently two people, so you’ll be a genuinely influential pair of hands - with real say in the tech and the direction things take, working closely with the dedicated UX/UI designers and the wider development team.

It’s worth knowing this is hands-on, live-production-adjacent work: occasionally things happen in real time and can go wrong, so it suits someone adaptable, driven and motivated, who’ll get stuck in as part of the team when it counts.

Technical environment

Frontend ideally in Aurelia, but strong JavaScript with React or Angular is just as welcome. You’ll work with APIs and REST integrations, applying SOLID principles and a good eye for usability and UI. (For the curious: the backend is .NET and Python, though this role won’t touch it.)

What we’re looking for

• 3–10 years of frontend development experience
• Aurelia ideally, or strong JavaScript / React / Angular
• Experience with APIs and REST integrations
• A solid grasp of SOLID design principles
• Genuine usability and UI design sensibility
• Driven, motivated and adaptable, with a real team-spirit mentality

A big plus if you have:

• Any experience with Microsoft Teams / Office integrations
• A background in video processing, broadcasting or streaming
