Staff Product Marketing Manager, Cloud Risk & Developer Security (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will drive portfolio strategy for cloud risk and developer security, with a strong emphasis on proactive security messaging, launch execution, and market positioning. The position partners closely with Product and CTO leadership to translate technical capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with security teams, customers, and the market. It also requires building credibility through demos, technical content, analyst engagement, and field enablement that support broader go-to-market effectiveness.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $145,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy and lead product launches with measurable outcomes
• Shape the future of proactive security by collaborating with Product and CTO leaders
• Build technical credibility through demos and technical content for various security teams
• Establish thought leadership on cloud risk and developer security through market engagement
• Lead analyst engagement and align narratives with broader market positioning
• Drive field readiness and customer engagement to validate messaging and inform product planning

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product marketing or related cybersecurity roles with a focus on cloud security and application security
• Experience in end-to-end portfolio ownership, including market strategy and competitive response
• Deep understanding of proactive cloud and application security concepts like CNAPP and CSPM
• Strong expertise in developer security practices and tools, including CI/CD security and Kubernetes controls
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills for technical audiences
• Ability to manage ambiguity and influence senior stakeholders effectively
• Experience leveraging AI technologies for decision-making and workflow improvement
