Director, Network Architecture and Engineering (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Network Architecture and Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This leader will shape the enterprise networking vision and guide the long-term architecture that supports global operations across the business. The role is responsible for setting strategy, defining standards, and ensuring network investments align with broader technology objectives. It also requires close partnership with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global network strategy and multi-year roadmap
• Serve as the senior design authority for enterprise networking and guide major technology investments
• Establish reference architectures and design patterns for network services
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that add business value
• Lead a global team in the design and delivery of strategic network projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted
• Extensive experience in enterprise networking with a focus on architecture and engineering leadership
• Proven track record delivering complex global network solutions in large enterprises
• Experience establishing technical standards and governance frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior technical professionals
