Lead Platform Engineer, AI and DevSecOps

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Platform Engineer, AI and DevSecOps to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape the technical foundation that supports secure, scalable AI and SaaS operations across the organization. You will lead platform strategy at the intersection of DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and operational governance. The position partners closely with engineering and leadership teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and delivery across production systems. It is a highly visible opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who can influence standards and maturity across a modern cloud environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $155,000 – $175,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the DevSecOps and AI operations roadmap
• Design and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for SaaS and AI
• Implement automation to streamline deployment and monitoring processes
• Monitor platform KPIs and cost drivers for operational efficiency
• Lead operational maturity of the AI platform and governance
• Build observability across infrastructure and applications
• Create shared engineering standards to enhance product delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
• Proven experience with production AWS infrastructure for SaaS environments
• Strong leadership skills in technical strategy and mentoring
• Hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and operational automation
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure and governance practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
