Senior Relationship Manager (Church & Charity Lending)

We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to build trusted relationships across the Christian sector, support more churches and charities, and grow a strong pipeline of lending opportunities. You will originate, structure and manage development loans and complex secured lending transactions, develop a strong broker network serving the faith community, and guide opportunities from initial enquiry through credit approval and completion to ongoing relationship management.

Through our Church and Charity Lending team, we have the privilege of coming alongside churches and Christian charities, providing the finance they need to pursue their vision, grow their ministries and serve their communities. We are looking for a practising Christian with significant development-lending experience, strong credit and commercial judgement, and the ability to build trusted relationships with borrowers, brokers and professional advisers.

As a result of our Christian ethos, this post is covered by an Occupational Requirement (OR) under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will be expected to be a practising Christian and to clearly demonstrate a personal commitment to the mission, principles, values and practices contained in our Ethos Statement, by:

· Active membership of local church congregation.

An understanding of the faith aspects of the work of Christian charities, including the preparedness to pray with colleagues, where appropriate.

Pay: £57,000.00-£63,000.00 per year
