• We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and RESTful APIs.
• The candidate should be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting applications in production environments.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable microservices-based applications.
• Design, develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Deploy, configure, and support cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with Kubernetes for application deployment, container orchestration, scaling, and management.
• Support application deployments, production releases, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Follow coding standards, software engineering best practices, and version control processes.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned technical deliverables.
• Required Technical Skills
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical responsibilities effectively.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven or Gradle, and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, application security, and cloud-native design principles.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
