Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer / Microsoft Fabric Engineer with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Azure data integration services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.
• Use Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
• Work with Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration.
• Work with OneLake and Microsoft Fabric data services.
• Design and implement appropriate data models for reporting and analytics.
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or data-quality issues.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with developers, data analysts, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Follow best practices for data engineering, documentation, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architecture.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of OneLake and data integration.
• Good understanding of data modelling and data engineering concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on client-facing data engineering projects.
• Knowledge of Power BI and analytics workloads.
• Experience with data governance and security.
• Understanding of CI/CD for data engineering solutions.
