Assistant Store Manager for Independent Fashion Brand

We are partnering with an exciting independent fashion brand to recruit an Assistant Store Manager for its West London boutique.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused retail professional to join a growing brand with a strong product offering and a personalised approach to customer experience.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the boutique, driving sales performance, developing client relationships and supporting the team in delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering a personalised and engaging customer experience.
• Build lasting client relationships through effective clienteling and follow-up.
• Coach, motivate and develop the team to achieve individual and store KPIs.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, stock management and store presentation.
• Support with scheduling, reporting, inventory management and general operational responsibilities.
• Represent the brand’s identity, values and aesthetic in every customer interaction.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or Senior Sales Assistant role within fashion retail.
• A strong commercial mindset, with a proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
• Passion for fashion, styling and independent brands.
• A natural people leader who enjoys motivating and developing others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine talent for building customer relationships.
• Hands-on, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.
