About Streamind Health

Streamind Health is a digital behavioral health startup dedicated to improving access to high-quality psychological care for children with medical conditions. We provide standardized training, mentorship, and oversight to master’s-level mental health providers and are building the technology and infrastructure needed to expand and enhance pediatric behavioral health services nationwide. All sessions are conducted virtually, and we are in a meaningful growth stage as we build systems, processes, and a strong mission-driven team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and flexible administrative professional to support our growing clinical and operational needs, including practice operations, referral and intake coordination, and the development of efficient administrative systems. This is a part-time, fully remote 1099 contractor position, starting at approximately 10 hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours and responsibilities as the company grows.

  • Adaptable, comfortable with change, and open to trying new systems
  • Willing to provide feedback and help improve workflows
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable communicating with a wide range of people

You will play a central role in interacting with our families, clinicians, and partners, so excellent communication skills and a professional, warm demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the clinical and operations team
  • Communicate professionally with families, medical providers, schools, and insurance companies by phone and email
  • Coordinate scheduling and intake workflows, including referral tracking, family follow-up, appointment coordination, and monitoring outstanding intake requirements
  • Support documentation, billing coordination, and data organization
  • Manage internal systems, track tasks, and help streamline workflows
  • Ask questions when processes are unclear and proactively suggest improvements
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine and build administrative infrastructure
  • Review pending tasks and documentation trackers to identify missing information, overdue items, and required follow-up.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and follow up on outstanding emails, referrals, and administrative requests.’
  • Audit and maintain spreadsheets, referral trackers, and internal databases to ensure information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Track outstanding referrals, intake requirements, documentation requests, and administrative follow-up to support timely communication and continuity across practice operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in medical or behavioral health administration, medical office coordination, behavioral health practice support, or similar roles
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone with families, medical professionals, and insurance representatives
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Clear, friendly, and professional communication style
  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new digital tools
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
  • Availability during West Coast business hours (exact hours flexible)

Compensation & Hours

  • 20-25 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Approximately 10 hours per week to start, with growth potential
  • 1099 contractor, remote work
  • Opportunities to increase hours and/or rate as responsibilities expand with company growth

Who Thrives in This Role

  • Someone who enjoys early-stage startup environments
  • Someone who wants to help build something meaningful in children’s behavioral health
  • Someone who is flexible, creative, proactive, and loves improving systems
