Job Description

IDR is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer. The role involves working as part of a technical team to build a solution that accelerates the activation of clinical trials from protocol receipt to patient enrollment. The position is remote, with primary responsibilities including developing and evaluating AI/ML agentic workflows, utilizing technologies such as Python, GCP, and agent frameworks like Langgraph and Langfuse. This role combines hands-on technical work with collaboration and potential mentorship.

Position Overview for the Agentic AI Engineer:

  • Build and evaluate agentic AI workflows to support clinical trial activation processes.
  • Develop and implement solutions using Python and GCP cloud platform.
  • Evaluate and monitor AI agents/models, ensuring observability and performance.
  • Integrate agent frameworks, including Langgraph and Langfuse, into production environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize AI solutions and maintain system health.

Requirements for the Agentic AI Engineer:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, mathematics, health science, or a related field AND one (1) year experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience, OR HS Diploma/GED with seven (7) years of experience.
  • Experience with agentic engineering, including building AI agents and working with MCP, RAG, embedding/vectorization, hybrid search, and reranking.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • GCP experience.
  • Experience with agent frameworks such as Langgraph and Langfuse; experience with Claude Code and healthcare data is a plus.
