Events & Communications Manager for Membership

We are working with the UK branch of an international membership organisation who aim to promote professional development and scientific knowledge through a programme of webinars, seminars and a flagship annual conference. We are looking for an Events Manager to join their small London team to lead and develop their events programme.

This would be a great fit for any candidates who relish a role with lots of autonomy and project ownership and have the experience to thrive in a standalone position. As Events Manager you will take charge of – 

• Logistics, venue and supplier management
• Budget oversight
• Delegate and speaker liaison
• Research and approach potential event sponsors
• Create engaging social media content to promote the events programme

We are particularly keen to speak to candidates with previous experience working in a professional institute, royal college or other membership body. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of successfully planning and delivering similar events.
