SAP BTP Developer with German (m/f/d)

The Role

We are looking for an SAP BTP Developer to build modern, cloud-based applications and extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will work on long-term, remote engagements, turning business requirements into clean, scalable solutions that keep our clients’ SAP core clean.

As you will work closely with German-speaking stakeholders, proficient German is required. Developers with an ABAP or full-stack background who are moving into BTP are highly encouraged to apply.

Your Tasks.

• Design, develop and maintain applications and extensions on SAP BTP.
• Build backend services with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Node.js or Java, or with ABAP Cloud / RAP.
• Develop user interfaces with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 / Fiori elements.
• Create and consume APIs (OData, REST) to integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA and other systems.
• Work with BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, XSUAA / authorization, destinations and Cloud Connector.
• Deploy and run applications on Cloud Foundry or Kyma, using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write technical documentation and support testing and go-live.
• Collaborate with BTP consultants, architects and business stakeholders in international teams.

Your Profile.

Must have:

• 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 1–2 years in SAP BTP projects.
• Hands-on experience with CAP (Node.js or Java) or ABAP Cloud / RAP.
• Experience with SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
• Good knowledge of OData / REST APIs and Git.
• Proficient German (min. B2) and fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, Integration Suite or SAP Build.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes / Kyma.
• SAP BTP or development certification.
