About us

Helfen Company runs two fashion accessory brands, Archer Watch Straps and Downholme, selling on Amazon and Shopify across the US, UK, EU, and Canada as a lean two-person team, with over a million products sold and years of steady growth.

The role

We want someone who can design and build a structured team of AI agents to run much of our operations in the background: purchasing and replenishment, inventory and shipment tracking, Amazon listing health, and reporting. This is not a role for someone learning agents for the first time. We need someone who has built agent systems that work in practice and can guide us to an approach we won’t need to rebuild.

You’ll also learn our operations hands-on and help run them, so the system is built on a real understanding of the work.

What you’ll do

• Build a multi-agent system that automates core e-commerce operations
• Design how agents store, share, and separate memory and context, both between agents and between team members
• Add the safeguards, approvals, and logging needed to trust the system with real orders and money
• Operate and improve the system over time, and document it clearly

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience building AI agent systems that run in production
• A practical, tested approach to agent memory and shared context
• Real coding ability, plus fluency with AI coding tools
• E-commerce, logistics, or operations experience is a plus
• US time zone required

Compensation and benefits

• $70,000–$100,000 depending on experience
• Annual bonus, learning and tools budget, QSEHRA health benefit
• Fully remote, with some paid travel early on

• Describe an AI agent system you’ve built that is used in production today (multiple agents working together, not just AI-assisted coding). What does each agent do, how do they coordinate, and how is memory and context stored and shared? If you haven’t built one yet, tell us the closest thing you have built.
• This role also means learning and helping run our e-commerce operations (Amazon, Shopify, inventory, purchasing, logistics) so you can automate them well. E-commerce experience is not required.
