Software Engineer - Java Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Apply design patterns and best coding practices to build clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, SREs, DevOps, and other teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Containerize applications and deploy them using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, static code analysis, and peer code reviews.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Track and manage tasks, bugs, and enhancements using JIRA or similar tools.
• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to process and tooling improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and be adaptable to new challenges and technologies.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Java development using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and task tracking using JIRA

Education:

• B.Tech / B.E. / B.Tech + M.Tech (Dual Degree)
• Specialization in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or related fields
