Product Content Assistant

About the Role
Southwest Fireplace is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Product Content Assistant to help maintain and improve the digital presentation of our fireplace, grill, patio, and outdoor living products. This position supports the accuracy, organization, and quality of product information across our online catalog and digital sales channels.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with product details, organizing information, updating website content, and ensuring customers can easily find the information they need when researching products. This is an opportunity for someone with strong written communication, organizational, and computer skills to contribute to a customer-focused retail business.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain product descriptions, specifications, features, and other digital catalog information.
Review product listings for accuracy, consistency, spelling, formatting, and completeness.
Upload and organize product images, product documentation, and supporting digital assets.
Update website content to reflect product changes, availability information, seasonal promotions, and new merchandise.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications
Experience updating product listings for an e-commerce website or online retail catalog.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), inventory platforms, or product information management tools.
Basic understanding of SEO, digital merchandising, or online customer shopping behavior.
Experience editing product descriptions, maintaining digital assets, or working with large product spreadsheets.

Pay: Up to $70,500.00 per year
